Cafferty asked if Obama should have accepted another debate w/ Clinton in Indiana/NC, and here was one viewer's kick ass response:
No. And what’s the big deal anyway? When Clinton was ahead she declined to debate and no one made a federal case of it. When she ran for the Senate she declined to debate. All of a sudden Obama decides 21 debates is enough and he’s portrayed as causing democracy to split apart at the seams. The Clinton campaign is short of funds and a debate equals free advertising and a chance to say Reverend Wright in every other sentence. It’s not rocket science.

Apparently they've already had 21 debates, which I think by anyone's definition, would be a shitton. And the last debate was so substantive & policy-oriented, that I don't know how the American people will choose which candidate without another debate about Rev. Wright, saluting the flag, clinging onto shit, and a goddamn pin. I mean, seriously, one of the questions in the last debate was about a pin. And not even a wrestling pin. No, it was about a lapel pin. Fuck.

She won Pennsylvania... Keystone State- more like the Shitstone state... They could have stopped the drama, but they failed... right now we're only behind by 8%-- I think anything less than double digits is a success, esp. considering he was down 20 points a month ago.
Fuck pennsyfuckingvania. We're really going to have to drink this one off tomorrow night.

Also, this is a great article about the "elitist" label in politics.
My favorite quote from it: "It's ironic that of the three [presidential candidates] standing, the only one who isn't demonstrably wealthy is Obama."

John Baer: Decades of working-class neglect - now that's insulting | Philadelphia Daily News | 04/14
This is a great quote from an article that says how ridiculous it is that the bitter comments have become such a big flap:
"So, despite carping from Hillary Clinton and annoying yapping from her surrogates (really, it's like turning on the lights at night in a puppy farm), I take no offense."
Turning on the lights at night in a puppy farm- brilliant!
And someone else, when talking about hillary calling Obama an elitist said this (also fucking brilliant!): "Hillary Clinton calls Barack Obama elitist? Really? Hillary Clinton was a corporate lawyer who sat on the Wal Mart board before becoming First Lady and is now worth over $100 million. Barack Obama is the child of a single mother raised in part by his grandparents who went to school on a scholarship and was a community organizer making $12,000 a year before becoming a law professor, lawyer and state senator. Five years ago he was still paying off student loans. It's a bogus charge."

Here's a great quote from the best channel for informative, unbiased, and not-full-of-shit news out there, Fox News:
"From the beginning, George W. Bush has been frequently ridiculed for his speaking style. Now, 7 years later, he's credited with some of the most eloquent and visionary speeches ever delivered by an American president."
Here's an article (featuring a Daily Show documentary on Fox News).

Obama's gained 3 points on her in 6 days
We really need another election soon... this has been a lot less interesting since Feb. got over. I never thought I'd say this, but in a way I miss Mitt & Rudy- their dumbasses kept it entertaining.

Did you hear about Mark Penn? He met w/ Colombian government about a free trade agreement, because of being CEO of Burston-Marsteller, who are lobbying for this free trade agreement w/ Colombia. He resigned as Clinton's chief strategist, and one of her 2 new chief strategists (Wolfson) said Penn will stay on as part of the strategic and polling team.
I really hope this bites her in the ass. If she's keeping this guy on in any capacity after all of his fuckups, this one being by far the biggest, I think it shows that she places loyalty above competence. Remind you of someone- W. maybe?

Here's what Hillary said to an AFL-CIO group today when speaking (talking about Obama supporters calling for an end to the race):
“Well, could you imagine if Rocky Balboa had gotten half way up those Art Museum steps and said, “Well, I guess that’s about far enough?” Let me tell you something, when it comes to finishing the fight, Rocky and I have a lot in common. I never quit. I never give up. And neither do the American people.”
That's what we need more of in our pres. race. Fuck policies, debates, or town hall meetings, we need more comparisons to fictional fucking characters. Snaps for Hillary.

Clinton now says Obama's trying to suppress the voice of the rest of the voters by trying to prevent them from voting. Nevermind the fact that she said she wants even pledged delegates to vote for who they think is best for the party (which would also suppress, nay, annihilate the voice of those voters). She planned on having the nom wrapped up after super tuesday, which would have ignored the voice of all these voters. When Bill wrapped up his nomination in April of '92, it wasn't a crisis that there were people still left to vote. In conclusion, fuck HRC b/c I hate her.
