How did Ulyssess S. Grant get on the $50 bill? This is really bothering me- I want to know how in the sam hell is the guy who's consistently rated as one of the worst U.S. presidents of all time get on our currency? At first, I thought maybe it was for his military achievements during the Civil War.. but now I think if this were the case, Dwight D. Eisenhower would be on currency because he was supreme commander of allied forces in WWII, and considered one of the better presidents of all time. But he's on no currency.. So the question remains, What the fuck?
